Those are great numbers! RE knows how to get it done for sure. That's enough power that you shouldn't need a jockey... maybe one to sit on the bumper! Impressive for the +3 crank. Is it the short or long rod stroker crank? Definitely a happy combo.

Never done a baseline run from it being stock. Bought this bike new in 04' but never really had it stock.

Very impressive numbers. I dyno'd an 04 with an nmotion pipe several years back, I think it put down 42 hp.

Baseline dyno numbers are going to be different on almost all dyno's. When I had my 06 run for a baseline with the hrc kit, it was 37hp. Honda rates them around mid 40's...go figure. Then ported and bigger valves added made mid-hi 40's with the hrc cam. That sounds really low but the fact is that it picked up almost 10hp from portwork and +1 valves...stock compression mind you. Dyno numbers are just there for comparrison of "before" and "after" a change to the engine or tune. Sure mine only made mid 40's on that particular dyno but after going out and racing other hrc hondas and "cam-mod" piped yfz's, it was a huge difference and that added 10hp shows very nice.

Short rod, and it was done over by Crankworks. I wanted the option to run any piston I wanted, not just a special stroker piston. I personally have not seen a Hotrods +3 setup putting out this much power. Haven't had a chance to actually run it yet except on the dyno so I'll keep you guys updated on it's reliabilaty.

Yes that's impressive indeed. I have not seen that much power from a +3 either, N/A anyway. I replace mine with a HR crank but stock stroke that was also touched up by Crankworks. Definately great work they do. I hope it holds together and is very reliable for ya. Should keep those pesky yfz's from buzzin ya!

good luck on reliability. With that kind of compression and power it is sure to be a bomb waiting to explode. Awesome numbers though nun the less.

Not quite sure it's going to be a bomb, but we all know that reliability goes down with any kind of upgrades to any motor. This is a purpose built bike with only one kind of riding in mind, dragging. I'm not going to be taking it out on long trail rides or desert rides anytime soon. That's the reasoning behind the the build and need for the high output, and I'm willing to put up with the extra maintenance for this caliber of motor to keep it running. Believe me, I know that the state of the motor right now is beyond the capabilities of the few stock components that are left. But I have taken a few precautions to help try and make it last. There are quite a few TRX450's running around with 70 plus horsepower and more compression that have proven to be reliable with the proper maintenance. I'll keep you guys updated.

Here's a quick video of it at Pismo Beach, CA MLK weekend. Been to Glamis and Pismo with no promblems at all, guess this build is turning out to be a bit reliable:D

That is a great number!!!My TT bike is virtually the same build but on a 66mm(stock) HR and a sparks 470 national cylinder.Same cam(208/921) with adjustable Gear, decked .030 and my (RDS RACING) port work.Sparks 43.5 carb,Rat stacked with our intake.Sparks team TT exaust,With a 13:1 shelf piston(reliability)Custom dyna Ignition, And a few other mods,Went 61.4 and 44.02 on our DYNO.Wondered what a little boe and stoke would do!!!!!
Definatly the right comb. on bore and stroke.Love to see it run.
