Ok i have a 94 300ex, so here's the problem the bike wont start when its cold but it will pull start no problem, and after it gets warmed up it will start very easily. Is this a carb or electrical, problem, its still all stock. This is what i have done thus far, cleaned carb, verified getting spark and gas, checked plug and cleaned, charged and checked battery 12+ volts. however when trying to start the bike when its cold the voltage drops fairly quickly to less than 10volts as its trying to start?
Im starting to run out of ideas so any info would be greatly appreciated

thanks James

Chances are your battery is in need of replacement OR the temperatures are low enough to cause the cranking voltage tod rop below the amount required to spin the starter fast enough to fire the engine (this is why it will pull start but wont fire off the battery)

maybe the battery has a blown cell in it and won't handle a load put on it. A new battery would probably fix it

could also be the celinoid....... cheak battery first then the wireing and plugs and the celinoid.

thanks for the ideas, mine is a 93 and it does the same exact thing when the temp is 10 degrees F or like -12 Celsius

if it cranking over ok you may need to up the low speed jet a size or adjust the valves
