These are BRAND NEW 1st generation (thanx for the info Dan) Roll Design stainless footpegs with kick ups.
They have never been mounted and are absolutely flawless.
They are ready to ship today via USPS priority box and i would to see these go to a good home.
They will fit the 88/89 direct bolt up and will fit 86/87 with some modifacations to the footpeg mounting plate (i have done this on my build)
Im looking for $200.00 plus 10.98 for shipping.
PM me for further details and lower 48 only please as i dont trust alot of shipping companies especially during the hollidays.
Jason

i take it that was your only pair....early bird gets the worm. But I was wondering if you could show me how to modify them for an 86/87 i would like to get a pair for my new build. I have a pair without kickups on my 89. thanks

Watch out for that exhaust clamp. I bought the same one and it sucks!! A complete waste of 35 bucks.

Where did you get it from? I think it's cheaper than that straight from Duncan.

I agree. That price sounds kinda high ... or maybe he picked up other things too with it :ermm:

no, Duncan offers 4 pipes...thats where i got it from... the other 3 pipes are like $450 with all the hardware and chroming... the best pipes they make are the eliminator race pipe which i have and the mid-range 03' race pipe... my pipe is a mid-top end combo for h.p. and torque... i did a lot of looking around and i think this was the best pipe for me and my racing style... I have some dyno charts to give you some figures granted its going to vary quad to quad pending on porting, and things like that done to a 250r... but it is a great pipe... i love it on my "R"!!! IDK why but the pipe I got is the most expensive... must be in how they make it... probly costs them more... but I but all hardware too and that price includes shipping fees... note... on a few of these dyno charts... the sparks and one of the ptr pipes there is a drop in the power curve... this was do to bad jet settings....

I guess you missed pinitatv brand new for $250? Ouch!

actually I think i have the dyno for that too.. as well as about 7 others too but i just put a few of the most common/bragged about pipes... I'm not trying to brag my pipe is the best or that it makes the most power, or that it sounds the best... but it suits my riding style.. i've riden R's with sparks, FMF, and ESR pipes and they all sound nice but I think my Duncan pipe pulls the best where I want and need it to. If I hadn't bought the Duncan pipe I would Have chosen an ESR or LRD I think.. I've heard a lot of good about both, and both have a smooth hard hitting mid range power increase i'm told... but every person has their own riding style right... I am a big fan after I've rode a duncan "R" with a 305 cylinder and I've heard from many that a 340 cylinder will blow banshees out of the water when they are not highly modified...

"A lot better than your 775?" I don't mean to keep this nonsense going but who really cares what he paid for his pipe? It's not your money, is it? Why do you care?

But since you are still somewhat confused about the price let me break it down for you:

-new chrome Paul Turner Elimintor pipe $450
-new Fat Boy silencer $160
-new pipe clamp $35
-new exhaust flange $80

I'll even do the math for you. That adds up $725. Add the shipping and if he bought anything else from them and that will give you your price of around $775.

Still confused?

Thank You. I also did the math and could understand. Now everyone else can see also.

$775 and its not used, dented up, needing repacking, or getting flaws in the finish... I'm restoring this bike... This is why i don't want other peoples used parts for the most part of this build... no offense guys... But that nice blingin' new pipe looks good and its fresh drool... lol ..... sorry to the (original poster) i didn't mean to hijack your thread... I guess there is lots of opposition out there about how people build their quads... its all good. I'm just happy I have an "R"! I thought piniatv was a foriegn company by the was you were talking guy... this why i said i might have the dyno for that too.. i have stumbled across a few dyno's i've saved from european aftermarket manufacturers and people testing their stuff out... Sorry to pini as well... my bad...lolback to your thread buddy... sorry again...

hey jason: back to you original post
can you please post the pics how you modified the mounting plates to fit 88/89 ims pegs? i know that they will mount up with out any modifications but the ergonomics are bad. i.e.: too close to the shifter.

thanks
