I'm working on fixing an old LT50 for my uncle's kids, and I noticed the intake tube has been "modified." The tube I am referring to is between the carb and the cylinder. On the carb side, the mating surface has been ground down and wrapped in rubber in an attempt to seal it off. The carb no longer clamps onto this tube, so it can fall off easily. Does anyone know a good fix to this, or should I look for a used one to replace it. If so, does anyone have a used one to get rid of? I plan to remove the restrictor plate so that isn't an issue.

Thanks,
Dustin

I'd be looking at a parts fiche and seeing what parts I need to put it back to stock.

Bikebandit.com usually has good parts diagrams that you could check out to see what you need.

I looked at a fiche, and I believe the only part I need is this intake tube (intake pipe in the fiche). I figured this would be the best way to go, it's just this rebuild cost is nearing the worth of the quad, haha.

Anyone have a used one to part with?

Thanks,
Dustin

motorsportssupercenter.com will have the best prices (and the fiche).
Usually 20-30% less than bikebandit.

Thank you both for all the help! Now I'm just waiting on the machinist, haha.

Thanks,
