relocating battery with racer battery box

I received the battery box that was part of the racer kit. After mounting it, I noticed that the red wire that goes to the battery is rubbing on the bottom of my seat. I think i may have mounted it wrong. Does the aluminum box go under the plastic or drop inside the plastic? I feel stupid for asking this but something is wrong. Thanks, Craig

lol....yeah, it goes inside the box, its a really tight fir, but something that comes in handy

The Stage One battery support goes on the inside. But if you realy want to fix your battery mounting get a BCS battery box not only give the battery real support but let you remove the rear plastic without taking out the battery, wiring, and relay. We have them on both are DS
