xr400 cam change can you

When changing the cam and piston in the 400 ex do you have to pull the motor or can it be done in the frame.

it took me 5 hours and my engine was outta my frame so far puttin it back in what i have done so far has been about a 1/2 hour but i can't do anymore till i get that part.

Yes, you can do it in the frame. No problem. I haven't done mine yet, but I have watched my friend 440 his. Plenty of room.

Yep, leave it in the chassis. There is enough room.
