Well here my question along with everyone else on this site. Im running a 2008 TRX450R. With a full LRD Exaust System with a quiet core insert, and spark arrestor, along with a Hot Cam Stage Two, Pro Design Intake with Dual Stage Foam Filter, Outwears Cover ( Not Lid), a LRD Needle, and a MSR Adjustable Air Screw. Does anyone have any idea what jets I need to run, How many turns on the air screw, and what clip I should be on, on my needle. Ive talked to lrd a couple times and it still tends to back fire and when she gets how she wont start. The valves are fine so this is my next guess.

I have a similar setup - 175 main, 48 pilot, 2nd from bottom on clip, and 2.5 turns out on fuel screw.

Im running a 160 main, 42 pilot, and 3rd clip from the bottem. No idea about turns on the air screw ive screwed with it so much. Its pulls and runs great besides the not starting when its warm. Still think I should try the 175, 45, and 2nd??

I see the pilot of 48 is perfect. But im reading alot about the 3rd or 4th clip should be right. But the way guys talk even 170 is a little small I might wanna be 180ish im lost on the whole deal

They may have been talking about the 3rd of 4th clip from the top instead of the bottom. IMO 180 would be the highest you should need. Maybe they were talking about the earlier models that didn't have FCR. In those carbs, I ran as high as a 195.
