a few questions domes carb motor

hello everyone Iam very new to 250r and I started building one last summer. I have collected a whole bunch of parts and had a couple questions.
first one i have a 89 bottom end with a 86 top end ported by lrd what kinda motor is this is it a 250? the guy said it was some sort of stroker.

second i want to race my bike and have some good bottom end power i have a 35pj right now I was thinking of going to a 35a/s but everything i read keeps saying 38 a/s whats a good carb for mx? im a novice and never get out of 3rd gear on the track and our track is very tight.

third I have a 19cc dome for my coolhead I want to run 100octane fuel in my bike how much compression can i run with 100octane.
i am very familiar with banshees and I know like 170-190ish you can run 100 after that you need more octane.

it should still be a 250 does it have a spacer plate?
i would get a 38 as. carb it will suit your bottom end need good enough for now and as you get better you will have the 38 if your going to buy new you should go with a 38 as.
not sure what a 19 dome will give you but pretty high i am betting, you going to have to see what the others tell you about that, good luck

i am running a spacer plate yes.

yeah is probably just a 86 piston with spacer plate so its still a 250, but
