Hey guys i'm about to buy some shocks for the front ofmy 87 lt250r. Now i'm going to try to stick to a budget of about 500 for a new set of shocks. Heres my choices: Works performance G series non adjustable triple rate shocks. they retail for about 550 and i'm sure i can get them for about 500 even. they are a little step up from the regular AT steelers. Or a set of recreational Elkas in a triple rate non ajustable. Which do you guys think would last longer and work better. I wish i could splurge and get the elkas with the piggybacks and compression adjust but thats about 800 bucks. I'm a woods rider/racer, and don't have to worry about big jumps or anything like that. I just need a good smooth ride over all the rocks and roots.... Thanks for the help

If both shocks are setup correctly they both will be a big improvement over the stock shocks. As for shock life the Elka's are made of much better materials and will hold up better over time.
