Go to www.hoppsswitchback.com for harescramble races. Some are non AMA sanctioned which means you don't have to join AMA to race. Great place for a racer to learn the ropes.
Also, the are two GNCC races held in Pa that I know of.

Thanks alot guys, I think I'm going to check out that Hoppsswitchback. Sounds cool since I wouldn't have to join the AMA. Plus its only an hour away:)Maybe after I try that out, I'll see about district 5

I race at switchback all the time. Its about a 3-4 mile loop. Its ROUGH. Nothing real chalenging on the track, just pretty well beat up track. If u like XC and MX at the same time, u would enjoy Switchback. Its not a bad track. And plus he pasy back pretty good:D

Is that the reason almost all XC riders there run 23"Fronts and 22"rears?

I think you do, but check with them. I always have one so it was never a question. The harescrambles are alot of fun. Just treat them as a trail ride and you'll love it. Be safe and have fun. Let me know how it goes.:)

yeah im one of the only guys in the A class that run 20" rears and 22" fronts, they all run bigger then me. They never check for tether cords, but i heard they will start this year

You have any trouble in the "swamp" section with your set up?
