I have owned this computer for about 2 years and never had a burning problem until today. I will go to burn an disc image with dvd decrypter like I always have. It says it burns successfully but nothing is on the disc. I ended up re-formatting the computer hoping this will help and it still continues to do this. Any ideas?

I got it to sucessfully burn twice out of like 15 attempts it either burns nothing to the disc or just a little bit wasting the disc.

May be worth it to go and get a new burner. You can get one for like $25 these days. At worst you figure it out and you have a backup DVD burner.

Yea after reformatting and it doing the same thing I was thinking that it must be a hardware problem. I just ordered a external one for $65.
