twist throttle

I have searched and have been unable to find the answer to this question. I have a motion pro twist throttle off my 05 400ex I am selling. The buyer wants to know if it will fit an 05 450r. Does anyone have the answer to this ?

the throttle part will but the cable will not work. i dont know about the ends on the cables though as to if the twists are different type ends so it may not work at all. you may be able to answer that since you have the twist throttle. if you used the stock ended cable the twist part will work. i hope i didnt confuse you, steve

Your twist throttle will work on the 450r, providing the buyer has a Motion Pro cable for his 450r.

The Motion Pro cable for your 400ex, will not work with the 450r carb.
