I am buying a 700 xx this week but am a little concerned! I weigh 143lbs
and find it VERY stiff when I sat on it in the shop. Are there any after market products that will make riding more enjoyable and less jarring. My Honda dealer says Honda does not have any fixes. Really don't want to ride with my mother inlaw on my back to smoothen the ride.:D

Houser a arms in the front with Elka shocks all the way around. It will make the ride of your quad 100% better.

Can you tell me your tire combination and why.
Have you tried 10in rims on the rear.

I run 23” tires in the front and 22” in the rear. The front tires are 23” because they fill in the holes allot better than the 21” tires that come on the 700xx. It also makes the quad less twitchy and feels better balanced. In the rear I went with a 22” Maxxis Razor with a DWT 11” tall wheel. The rear end of the quad gets so much traction that a wider tire set up like people are doing with the 10” ITP wheels and tires will give the rear end to much traction and it will make the quad push real bad in the turns. And with the 11” tall wheel you will have less tire roll and that will also help in the turns. Also the 10” ITP wheel changes the width of the quad and makes so wide it is hard to maneuver and harder to turn.

Thanks for explaining the differences.

A set of elka shocks for the rear is all you should need.... made all of the diff in the world for me as I was having the same problem, and I weigh 165#. The rebound on the front seems a little quick but not enough to bother me to change them untill I have enough $$ for the houser arms too. I have DWT beadlocks, GREAT wheels, you can mount your own tires with them.
