they're at least ~20 years old. they started making them out of plastic in the 80's.

certain old winchester AA paper shells would be worth some money, if in nevber fired condition....but you would have to go to a reputable shop that knew of values of older shells to really know

..pawn stars will not be able to help

There used to be a company called Wanda and they made an all plastic shotgun shell. That was back in the early 70’s and they quit making them in the late 70’s. They were some hard hitting shells but they would sometimes break in half and jam your gun so they stopped selling them. I’d say those paper shells are from the 60’s or earlier. You need to find a collector, they can’t be worth more then a dollar or two each.

If you have the box they came in, i would hang on to it. They seem to carry more value then the shells.

Paper hulled shells are still produced....

Paper hulled shells are still produced.... there just loose shells in the crate with a few fifths of sealed crown and a bunch of primers. it was my grandpas so i know it's got a little age so it can't be newer like the federal paper shells and it's got cork at the end to hold the shot in and the shells are red.

Hopefully you dont sell them....history in your hand

I have a bunch as well, and a while back they brought good money to collectors. I hope one day to have a nice print done of some ducks or geese and have a display case to showcase the paper hulls.

I remember paper shells very well when I was younger. Havn't seen any since the early 80's.

You can still buy paper shells. Fiocchi makes them.
