I have an lsr 250r hybrid that im building and want to make sure that nothing on this quad is halfa** but the deal is i have a pair of axis lt shocks and gibson +1 lt a-arms from my 400ex hybrid and was wondering if i used some type of spacer can i use the axis/gibson front end on my lsr 250r hybrid?? This way i have about $1700 into this axis/gibson front end cuz everything is just serviced and fresh and i will not have to worry about buying a-arms etc. Any help would be appreciated!! thanks

If there are any pos. or neg. to doing this please let me know.

they will work just fine, just make some spacers to take up the extra room, i cant remember if its 1/4 or 1/2" but as someone suggested on here a while back, use a 1" hole saw to cut some 1/4" aluminum and hog the hole out to 10mm for the a-arm bolt, that is cheap, easy, and effective

i believe its 1/4 inch and yes that is the cheapest easiest and one of the best way to make them, it will work fine USE THAT SET UP.

Thanks for the replies!! so does that mean that even though you are using a 400ex a-arm on a 250r that it does not change the way that the front end is setup. (shock travel, how high or low the quad sits, etc.) thanks

everything is the same except the width of the mounting points, you will be fine. done it on a few different builds back in the day, in fact used to use 250r a-arms on 400ex with a little grinding.
