well i just got this amazing deal on a atc310r for 100 bucks. a guy i work with was helping his uncle pack bc they were moving to florida. he didnt have any room for it on his trailer so he just gave it to him. then at work asked if i wanted to buy it. when he told me only 100 bucks there was no way i was going to pass it up.

i was looking into buying a 250r rolling frame and just use some of the components from the atc and build it up.

what kind of cost will i be looking at?

right now i would just like to ride it then over next winter start adding aftermarket goodies.

thanks for all the help

no f-ing way! that motor is the same as the other just a little different here and there, all you have to do is bolt the motor up and go. that easy. people all the time find a 85-86 atc250r motors in there trx250r's.

I would be interested in buying the ATC roller from you when you decide to part with it. PM me.

I also have some TRX parts for trade. Or my Cannondale roller, which would make a nice hybrid with that 310 in there. Nice aluminum framed TRX! Check out the hybrid section for a guy thats done 2 of them.

if everything goes through on the deal, it will be sitting in my driveway 2marrow night after work. will be going pic crazy lol

i just started to read about the swaps and was very interested on it. i always wanted a 250r but they are so much money already built, i couldnt afford one.

i would rather convert it b/c where i live its only trail riding and i owned a 350x before and it sucks riding on the trails.

im up in nepa, in the scranton area.

if everything goes well ill be letting you know when im ready to part it out.

ok well i got the trike on monday. yesterday went out to take it for a quick rip. started going up the road and it started to make this wierd noise. before i could shut it off the motor blew. i was told when i bought it that it was a 310 kit but it was a stock bore 250. took it back to the guys house and he gave me my money back. nothing was really salvageable besides the motor before it blew up.

my plan is to build a 250r from scratch starting in january. im finishing my car project up now so the build will start soon. ill keep everyone updated!!

why build from nothing look around there are a lot of good deals on good 250r already built, anyway you could imagine for way cheaper than you can build one.. plus youll save a lot of time and cash flow...
