Hey all,

I'm going to sell my quad locally, but I've been out of it for a while and I would like to get an idea of what these are going for these days. Probably not much but would like a ballpark so I have an idea what to expect.

2000 400 ex
black maier racecuts
je 416
stage II hot cam
white bros slip on
K&N filter
PEP triple rates, with piggy backs, non-adj
PEP rebuild on stock rear shock
Houser std travel +2 a-arms
LSR +4 axle
Houser Steering Stem (+1 I think)
maxxis razr mx's have 0 rides
ITP baja wheels

Also has other minor add-ons - bumper, nerfbars, killswitch, air scoops, braided brake lines, ect.

Quad is in exceptional condition for being nearly 10 years old, most of the aftermarket parts are less than 3 yrs old and only have a few races on them..

Thanks!

should add that the pic is probably a year and a half old but has probably 2 rides on it since then.

Thanks again!

only stock parts I have are an axle and maybe the brakelines...

Yeah I love the thing and would like to keep it forever, however I'm in my fourth year of college... enough said

those arent the current tires are they? youd see more money parting it out....I think 3500 is a little high considering the aftermarket parts arent going to add much to the resale.

no those are not the new tires...

Yeah I 3500 sounded high to me also, I was thinking around $2000. I would part it out but I have no time, the quad is at my parents and I live in an apt building an hour and a half away... don't even have a truck to haul the thing in!

I'm thinking I'll advertise it for around 2500 or 3000 obo and see what I get..

If anyone else has an opinion I would love to hear it, Thanks!

Great looking EX! If you're going to sell locally, I would definitely start at at least $3000 obo. Always better to start high and get talked down rather than getting less than might have been possible.

i know of some bone stock 03s going for 2000. i guess it depends on if the buyer is willing to see the amount of aftermarket as a good or a bad. i myself would see it as half and half so it would make it worth a bit more than 2 that is why i said 3-3.5 to be on the high side of life. steve
