try the zip tie mod:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzsBrNhX52g

This should work for all stock carburetors from the models 2004 up to 2008 or the 2009 as long as it isnt the 450r..

Hope this helps, good luck

What year is your quad? Mods? Elevation? Temperature? Jetting? Can't quite help you until we get some information.

Could also be tht your valves are out of spec. I have heard of peoples quads acting like yours is once they get warmed up. When is the last time you checked them.

I have signatures disabled because there are too many members with ridiculously long ones.

I would say checking your valves would be a good place to start.

the zip tie is a cheap wrong way to fix it. it can be solved 99% by jetting. HOW though, i am not sure. there is a lot of shops that build motors that would know more.

Do a search on YFZCentral for the leak jet. This usually cures the problem. The leak jet is a commonly overlooked jet that is just as important as the other ones.
