View Full Version : can you paint the exhaust

anyone had any luck painting the exhaust on these. I"ve got a set of toomey t5's i'd like to black out.

Yep, a good engine paint or ceramic coat will work fine and last long. Just use some steel wool to rid of ruff surface/rust and wipe clean with acetone or laquer thinner before spraying......

yeah i would say ceramic coat i dont know, but i dont think its cheap but its tough stuff
maybe it is idk

Most powder coater also do ceramic coating. I had my Shearer in and outta frames done in matte black for $75 a set................

i have shearer in and outs too. looks like great minds think a like. i am probably goona pull my marvin shaws and go to a works so i can take the whoops i think ill loose a little hook up but a small price to pay for comfort and ridability

duner central is one of the best ones ive seen this sites pretty cool planet sand is a cool thing i love what they do, but there site isnt all that. i dont think

what motor did you go with on that? bore stroke? alky, gas? thats a neat bike. i like the flat black looks cool

Thanks, Its a stock stroke ESR409 setup(393cc) on alky, lil motor runs hard.
