my friend is about to give me an lsr +4 axle for a 450r and was wondering if it would fit on the 400ex with 400ex parts?

i would say you might need a 450 carrier at the very least. i think they may be a bit different diameter. i could be wrong though. i am interested to find this out for sure for the future. steve

yeah you have to use the 450r carrier but it is about 1/8 inch wider so you would have to make sure it is centered properly in the 400ex swinger for it work out good. steve

I think the spocket hub is different too.
