got another prob...

took off the clutch cover case saver deal on my dads ol 250 trail bike and cleaned it up good and i put it back on but if u have it tightened all the way then it is really hard for the clutch to engage, but if i loosen the screws then the clutch is much easer to engage... does anybody have any idea what the problem could be????? im clueless...

the lil pole lookin thing pops out of place when u pull in the clutch if the scres are not tightened all the way... some one told me that i should pull the engine apart and see if there is something jamming it or something... what do u guys think i should do?
