hi does any body know if predator 500 front spindles will work on a 06 outlaw 500 irs.
cause my friend broke one trying to pull the hub off, and outlaw spindles are pretty pricey for one.

Check Ebay for one. I am not sure if the pred and 500 are the same. I do know the 525 are different then the 500.

06-07 outlaw 500 will take the same spindle as the 07 pred 500 ONLY. The preds 03-06 take one number 07 and 500 oultlaws another number and 525 oultaws a third number.

I have put older predator hubs on newer spindles. The length and taper I am pretty sure the same. I beleive the difference is the threads. Part numbers all change when Polaris went from Standard to Metric.

Polaris, for whatever reason, decided to make a bunch of changes to the pred in 07 for the last run of the machine. The arms are different than the other years.

hubs may fit but hes looking for a spindle for his outlaw....but that beings up a good point. The parts I listed were for the steering knuckle which has the spindle in it. If youre just looking for the hub that mounts on the spindle a pred one should work.

All the hubs are the same from 2003-2010 for predators and outlaws.

Like Katch said the knuckles changed for the 500's in 07. The knuckles are different on the KTM powered because of the dual piston calipers. The Spindles will interchange in them all and IMO the predator/outlaw500 spindles are better. The 07/08 KTM Outlaws are notorious for bent spindles.

the predator spindles themselves are identical (which can be pressed out of the aluminum knuckle) which is what I did, pressed out the actual bearing shaft and pressed in a used predator shaft, when I bent my spindle. but I think he's talking about the hub it sounds like...

ok thanks for the replys guys, nah i need a spindle, my friend went to replace the bearings in the hub, and forgot to take the caliper off and used a gear puller to get the hub off, and he broke the end of the spindle off where the caster nut gos. so i am looking for another spindle to swap it on.
