hi, i was thinking of putting wheel spacers on my quad. i found 2 different kinds and need feedback on them. which is better the round spacers or lugnut (lug extentions)? lugnut type look like they might be stressfull on the hubs. help

if you get them def get the round spacers. the thread extensions are the worst thing you could ever do to a machine. better yet look at the full extened hubs from g force that would be your best bet. i wouldnt recommend them if you plan to do any jumping or anything though. steve

would they be ok for trail riding without breaking anything?

i would say they should be fine. i ran the hubs for a while and i know a couple of guys that run the rears on their 250s. steve

hmm, i was thinking about getting some 1 1/2' lug extensions for both sides to make it 3' wider. but i was also looking at the extended hubs for 80 bucks and they are the same thing. 1 1/2' per side. but it looks like the hubs are my best bet. i jusyt dont want to spend that kind of money on making it 3' wider. i might stay stock.

the 3" is nice but dont get the stud ones spend the 80 bucks and get the good ones if you are gonna get them. you will have a lot more than 80 bucks in 2 hubs and an axle when your hub studs get all messed up and bent along with your axle being messed up. the hubs worked great for me for over 2 years. i would put them on again but havent had time. i used to take them on and off to go to the track, this way i would not have to worry about landing hard and then switch it back when i was done to make it nice for the trails. steve

Get an extended axle, that is the best way of extending your quad. My friend got wheel spacers, I am not sure which type, but they messed up his back rims.
