can i remove the reverse wires and cable?

going thru the bike last night i found it had reverse. i want to change the brake and clutch perches to CR/CRF style so can i take the cable off the bike below the clutch basket and the 2 wires that connect under it from the main wiring harness?

one of the connections on the wire's end is missing that connects under the clutch basket. it would save me $35 is i dont need this wire.

im trying to take as much complicated extra stuff on the bike as i can.

if i need to back up ill pull it off the trail like my dirtbikes or 3wheelers.

i hate the stock clutch perch and want to replace it with a dirtbike style one

we took a crf perch with compression release on it, hooked the cable to the little lever for compression release and it cleaned things up a lot. But I do think you can remove the cable without any problems

thats a good idea on the compression release. but i need a new wire since one of my connections is broke off to plug into the motor.

i guess thats why i'd rather see if i can remove it with no problems.
