kfx---need some info

we just bought a kfx, runs good drives good a couple issues weve discovered though


1. belt light is on----i saw a diagram somewhere of how to reset it but havent been able to come across it again

2. we keep getting the temp light coming on, then we noticed the fan wasnt engaging, under the seat there was 2 unplugged wires, different colors one looked to have a fuse in line, when we plugged them together the fan turned on but the key was off...


do these have over heating issues? or would this be normal for no fan?

also had the oil light flash but the oil was all good

Turn key off.
Find Black and Grey plugs under seat.
Disconnect 'em.
Plug Black to Grey plug, and Grey to Black.
Turn key on for 5 seconds.
Turn key off & reconnect plugs to original .
Turn key on and check light. Should be good to go
