those arent X MX shocks, they are standard Can Am DS450 shocks that are pictured.

These shocks were included when I bought my Can-Am and the dealer told me they were XMX shocks. So I just went out to the garage and tried them on my XXC and the front shocks are too long for my XXC a-arms. So from my understanding the XMX front shocks use the longer a-arms which take the longer shocks. Also these have heavier spring rates for a heavier rider, 210 lb. spring rates I was told. I got the XMX rims, tires, a-arms and shocks when I bought my Can-Am XXC, but I'm not gonna run mx so no need to keep them. I will do some research to verify that they are XMX or not.

Those are not XMX shocks, they are the standard 18" KYB.

Yeah, those are def not XMX shocks, the XMX shocks have the Kashima coating, no black tubes over the shaft and have dual springs and crossover setup, those pictured are single springs, no coating and obviously have the black shaft tubes.

That they are, standard shocks. Well, never take the word of a dealer. Since they are 09 standard shocks resprung, 300.00 for all three.
