Ok so I did the 450 carb switch. I have a slight hesitation from idle to full throttle. I started out @ 2.5 turns out on the air/fuel screw 50 pilot and 175 main. I have gone to 3 turns out on the air/fuel screw and a 178 main that has helped a little it does not cut out and die when you stab the throttle
like it did.

My question is how many turns should you go out on the fuel screw or should I go with a bigger pilot? Also what about the leak jet what does that do to the carb?

Basically I have a 416 with 12.1 piston, stage 2 Hotcam, Moto-X-Perts ported head, ground down hedder welds and HMF slipon, also the EHS lid and Twin Air filter I am not 100% sure of my elevation but I would say around 500'

Your pilot jet is too small. You need to bump it up one jet size. The goal is to be between 1.5 - 2.5 turns on your fuel screw. Anything more than that and you need a bigger jet.

What about the needle position could you drop the clip one notch?
