Title Question

i have an 06 kx250f and a guy wants to buy it and he needs the title (he's gonna ship it to his brother in the caribbean after he picks it up) problem is he needs the title for it to pass customs and i don't have it.

i bought the bike from a friend who also didn't have the title and he's not sure who he bought it from anymore.

so am i screwed or can i somehow go to the notary and get the title?

sounds to me like a scam dude. but you should check with the DMV. thats going to be your best bet

thats what i thought at first too cause i thought he wanted me to ship it to the caribbean but he said he's gonna come to my house and pick it up then he's gonna ship it himself separately. and i'm only gonna take cash so i think it'd be alright :confused: idk a whole lot about scams. does it sound half-legit?
