I bent my sub-frame at Durhamtown Plantation this past weekend. How many of you have had to replace your sub-frame?Any ideas on where I can get one for less than what the dealers are charging? Better yet, any ideas on where I can get a polished sub-frame?

how bad is it bent? all my sub frames are bent left or right of the bike. i dont worry about it. i've bent mine WAY out of wack before, rode on it for months, had another wreck and it straitened it perfect :blah: another wreck later and its facing the other way :D

It's not bent so bad I can't ride it. Hell, I rode it the rest of the day after I bent it. When I got home I took a sledge hammer and straighted the grab bar and frame out the best I could but it still leans to the left if you are looking at it from behind. I'm sure no one would ever notice unless I told them or they are as ocd as me. LOL!!! It just bothers me and I'll probably bend it again before it's all said and done like you mentioned but I went ahead and ordered a new one from Honda Powersports Parts out of Arkansas. They had the best price on a new one that I could find. I did find a few on ebay but the only one I found that matched my frame looked kind of rough and I would have a melt down if I bought it off ebay only to find that it's bent too. So basically I'm out $323 because I was riding too fast before the trails had a chance to dry out.
