first off i just have to say could honda have put the spark plug in a gayer place:rolleyes:
what size of socket do i need to get it out

I just had that problem today, I had to get a 17 mm deep well socket wrench for it... we got it at Sears..... slipped right on and got the plug off........

wheres your tool kit at theres a wrench in there,,,,,,,,,yeah the stupid spark plug is in a dumb spot but atleats you dont get a bunch of sh*t in there:D

Ya Honda did make that dang thing hard as h@ll if you lose the original sparkplug tool.
Craftsman 18mm 3/8 drive deepwell socket with the short extention works fine for me.:)

the that metal cap that scerws onto the top of the sparkplug is stuck in the yellew thing that conects to tthe sparkplug n i cant get it out:mad: :mad: gggrrrrrrrrrr........ bit i found out why it did not start, there was not spark

I belive that is ment for a 2-stroke motor. The socket part looks too short for the 400.
