I keep getting water in my intake on the big mudd puddles. I have a stock air box. Anyone have any tricks to make it water tight but still breath well?

keep the lid on and make sure the drain thing is plugged other wise i thought the stock box was pretty restrictive sence the only spot it gets air is jammed up by the gas tank

It is all factory with the lid on. I may just need to stay out of the water. I like to show the 4wd guys it can be done.

You could also put some silicone in that drain plug and around the lid where it meets the airbox meets it and if theres any hole in the lid itself

Good ideas. Do you think i should put silicone where the lid goes on? I know it will be a pain to get off but it may help.

Vaseline works very well and can be cleaned off with warm soapy water. Just fill the groove in your lid and when you put it on it will squeeze out the excess. I used to use that trick yrs ago running hare scrambles
