what is the best choice of pipe for what I have.

alright here is the situation. I put on a stage6 cylinder and did the apropriate clutching and have a 21 pwk carb. bike runs well but was told to run a new style 90 pipe with this set up. I purchased an 08 90 pipe which I was told was the same as a 09 90 pipe. Well I found out it is not. different then the 50 pipe but not much. So here are the pipes I have which one do you think would work the best.

1 stock drr50 09
2 stock drr90 08
3 older hetrick pipe

4 may be able to get ahold of a stock drr90 09 pipe.

What other suggestion for good woods pipe harescramble. looking for as much bottom as possible.

the new style 90 DRR pipe has been same since mid 07', so 08' and 09' and 2010 90cc exhaust are the same and it should work well with your set-up . Maybe the pipe you have was mistakenly called an 08' , but sounds like the earlier pipe such as on the 06' 90cc DRR.

does anyone know if the technigas pipe is still the best pipe for a 50. everyone says this is the best pipe for 50s but with the newer liquid cold motors and better aluminum cylinder is this still the case.

With the Stage 6 cylinder kit we have used the DRX90 pipe with good results.

How old is the Hetrick Racing pipe?
Most of the pipes I made were for torque.
This may help a bunch at XC

we ran a fully ported parmakit 50 cylinder in 09 along with my other riders and used a pcs with excellent results

Just Dyno tested one of those the other day,not a bad pipe but I dont think it will work good for XC ,,,,,JMO

Hetrick pipe will probably need heavier rollers to really make it pull.Should be great for haresrcambles !!
