The 250r is allowed in the production classes at the nationals this year! That is so sweet now the young guys can see how sweet these quads are! .

They are going to let aftermarket framed 250Rs in the production class?

I highly doubt it .

Producion = machines that are being produced and sold at dealerships.

I believe for the EDT series the 2 stroke's and hybrids will be allowed in Pro lites. Pro class is still production quads. They dropped the 4 stroke classes and have 265/450 classes instead.

thats cool and all....I hate to say it and hope im wrong, but im pretty sure that this year wont have any good turn outs. The economy is too bad and only people that will show up r the guys doing good and have the money. And maybe some locals that like to watch...

i think the tt nats and mx nats really need a vintage/2 stroke class. start with one then split it like the 30+. theres a ton of r's and other quads that just cant be raced, plus it would help preserve some of the history of atv racing.

I saw a kid racing with a CRF250r motor in a TRX250r chassis before. Somewhat related to the topic lol I thought it was pretty cool

lol that would be the open class

i think putting the hybrids back into affect would make it interesting, the manufactuers got the money to compete with walsh, houser or laegers, so lets let walsh build a hybrid that forces the manufactuer to step it up, think about it

or even take polaris and say ok walsh heres 10 motors, and w/e u need build a chassis and run it, thats all there r and d right there for a new quad, walsh could tweak it and wed have top of the line production stuff

its nice to dream tho
