I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to put a turn down spout on a ESR silencer? Kinda like the ones on a LRD or CT silencer. Something like the one in this pic. I just want something different.

lol with the way shop labor is these days you would have more into it than what a silencer would cost.:eek2:

Yea I was hoping that would not be the case. There is a boat fab. shop down the road that does aluminum work. I might check into there.....only problem is I think they are kinda pricey. :ermm:

Just get a CT silencer, it will fit on the ESR pipe.

I know it sounds crazy, but I like for mine to match. I might try and find a used CT or Curtis Sparks pipe and just take the end off.

ESR did actually make some, but they are rare. They just did a few because they were getting requests for quieter mufflers. The canister is twice as long and they have a slight turn down. Here is a pic. The one in the pic is actually after it had been shortened by about 3 inches.

The first attempt at posting a pic didn't work. I'll give it another shot. The turn down is hard to see. You may have to zoom in.

Well I figured it would help with the noise a little. I thought it would help direct the smoke downward and help keep my white plastics........well......white.;) Plus I like to be different.

Very good eye Steve;) I just ordered it from Duncan. I removed the rivots on the ESR one and took it off. When I went to install the Duncan piece, I had to take my dremel and kinda "stretch" the holes a little to get it to line up. I like the Duncan design a little better because they use allen head bolts instead of rivots.
