OK before all the haters get on thier soap box, just know that our knock off has had no more than the normal issues the extreme have had! Me and my son wanted to build a mini racer for him and this is where we are at so far. I wanted to post this to thank everyone who has helped (Hondo, 190banshee, and of course ebay!). Things we have done are as follows: First the swingarm colapsed when my son was ridding at the local mx track, so we found one from 190banshee that was gusseted and powder coated. just about bolted right up. Then the nerf nets broke and of course there are no replacements anywhere so I made ours out of tie down straps and pop rivets. Rear brakes were junk from the start, so used one from a 400ex and relocated it further back to get a longer stroke on the master cylinder. also made an extension on the top of the brake pedal for smaller boots that don't bend to well. Wanted more ground clearance since we were bottoming out on everything! so I found a set of works shocks Rear 11 1/4 and front 13" that made a world of differance. Also went up to a true 18" rear kenda scorpion. We cut the tank plastic to help with access to the carb and removed the battery (it was crushed when the swinger gave out). We cracked a rear hub some how and replaced both rear hub along with the rear hub bearings thanks to Hondo! Next is a set of good nerf bars and then we are on to the powerplant! If any one has any questions on anything we have done please let me know.

How do you like the scorpions compared to the original rear tires?
How well do they hookup?

I feel they work alot better, Larger foot print and light enough that they dont affect engine performance. So far they work great for MX. Havent had it out on the trails yet.
