seats and seat covers

so i had a quad tech seat cover on the hybrid and didn't like the way it looked.the top ofthe seat by the tank was too big and puffy looking for style.when i took the cover off i notice the foam wraps around the side of the seat pan.i don't like this at all.my questions are:

is this a quad tech seat foam?
are all seat foam's like this?
why does my buddy's seat seem more narrow in this area and also shorter in overall height?
will any quad tech seat cover look/fit like this?
can i make a ATC seat fit?

I love the way the atc seat foam is real narrow at the the top,and it's also shorter.i wonder if I got a desert style foam or something.

can you guys post up some pics of your seat and ,aybe answer some of questions.

I think what you want is the seat from an 86-87. The 88-89 seat is taller and softer, from what I remember. A quick call to cosmic quads would answer your question.
