best way to fix cracks/rips in plastics

i have heard many ways to mend broken plastics. just wondering what ideas everyone here has heard of or done?

Plastic weld worked good for me.

If it's cracked/broken and your mending with zip ties, drill a round hole at the end of the crack to prevent further spreading.
