last night i smelled a skunk and thought one just sparyed. well i was wrong. we have had some pretty cold weather recently and it hit 70 yesterday. i was hanging a christmas wreath and i looked down from the ladder and there it was in the basement window well. a dead skunk. i checked to make sure it was dead and sure enough it was. i got my 2 trusty shovels and wheelbarrow and went to pick it up. well apperently it was dead for some time and the cold froze the stink in. as i picked it up the thing split in half. f***ing gross. the stink poured out. now all i can smell outside is skunk and decay even though the thing is long gone and burried. now i need to just heal mentally. so people, go around your house and check your window wells before it gets warm out as the cold freezes everything together
