choke problems

i got a 2001 400ex 440 big bore kit the past few times i ride it the choke slides up on my and my 4 wheeler bogs down of course but then i push it back and it keeps coming on any reason why? i also have oil coming out the left side between the head and the cylinder also comes out on the top of the motor i had it all redone not to long ago gaskets rings all that .... i also noticed some oil on my carb weird

My stock carb did the same thing. I ended up just putting a spring on the coke rod to the frame to hold it open.

your best solution for the choke is to remove it, you might even notice some gains from it. The oil between the head means that it's possibly pulled the head studs. You have to get HD studs from GT Thunder. And the oil on your carb is from the head gasket leaking

ill check it out a guy told me that putting the big bore means it could pull the head bolts which maybe it did and what do you guys think about the ktm 525 i think it is for racing against a honda 450

so i just looked up these hd bolts pricey for bolts but one of my bolts was already helicoiled what do i do about that one? if i get the hd bolts and if these others just got stripped do i need to get someone to tap them

if one has already been helicoiled i'm not sure if the HD studs will work.
