2000 400ex appraisal

I was just curious as to how much you think my 400ex is worth after im finished rebuilding it. Its going to have 11:1 wiseco 416 Stage 2 cams prox cam chain New gaskets port and polished head shaved and wrapped stock headers kn yosh slip on ac nerfs and bumper prm scoops heelgaurds and grabbar trail tech edurance comp. renthal bars razr fronts razr 2 rears good tread led taillight and brake wiring for 05-07 exs did chain new aarm and axel bearings and new stock sprockets. (pic before rebuld)

Only prob i small crack in fender were it mounts to the frame which i fixed with a peice of metal and some screws and cant be noticed unless its pointed out

i'm sure you could get at least 2500 for it, but that is just in this part of louisiana. your best bet is to put up a price that you'd like to get for it (within reason) and put it as OR BEST OFFER and see what prices are thrown at you.

east coast quads dont hold resale value very well. I paid 1700 for an 03 last year.

No office ment to you JDog75, but the quad is filthy and is in poor condition (atleast in that picture). I'd say you would be lucky to get $1700 or so for it if you sell it with those pictures. I sold the following quad for $2500.

I bought it for 2000 6 months ago in the same condition it was in in that picture minus the crack and tires. And i dropped atlest 1500 into it

Plus i really dont have that good of a hose and i dont get to the carwas that often it could use a good cleaning.

How are the a-arm and shock bushings? Carrier, swinger, and linkage bearings?

I bought my quad for $2500, but $2000 into in over ONE winter (about $4000+ over the two years I had it) then sold it for $2500.. I can garentee you, you will not get your money back. I know! IT SUCKS! But there isn't anything you can do! I wish though! :P

Good-Luck, really! It took me months to sell mine! And now that it is winter- you are better off giving it a good cleaning over the winter and put it up for sale in the spring!

dang i wish i could have got 2500 out of mine and mine was a 06!!! it took use forever to even get 2000 and mine has 450r shocks air scoops stock and a maier hood lrd slip on and skid plates front to back i think we have been tryin to sell it since august and today a lady came and paid 2000 which i hated to see it go buts its gonna have to pay to get me 450r motor redone all of the money i just got

i just put axel bearing in it before my last ride and aarm bearings about 3 months ago. Everything else is still good
