Anyone running any 110 octane in their 525? Is it getting too hot or is is it running w/o a problem?

Allot of people just mix 110 and 93 sunoco and do not have a problem
I will be trying that this upcoming race season.

Straight 110 is too much for a stock engine. Even on my SX which (uses a 12.5:1 compression piston) a mix of 91 pump and 110 leaded race fuel is more than adequate. When I'm not racing a run mostly 91 and it still does fine.

what he said...unless you have a high compression motor you're pretty much wasting money with straight race gas...do a mix or just run premium gas.

i'm running two gallons of c12(108 octane) to three gallons of 93 octane pump gas. it equates to 99 octane in total. bike runs real good on it. i dont feel the need to run straight race gas beings its a stock engine
