Looking at a 2007 800.....

What all should I look for?

Any problem areas?

Its in great shape.18 hours,looks new.

Buying in the morning....

Check and see if frame is bent where lower front a-arms mount to frame. This area is prone to bend/tweek.

O.K. Thanks I`ll do that...

I bought it... NICE!

18 hrs like new.

It has a service engine soon light...(maintance soon)the previous owner saids its due for an oil change.

Make sence?

Yes. You will get that warning everytime it needs servicing. The only way to get it off is to have the dealer reset the computer. Mine has been saying it for about 6 months now....no biggie for it to say it. Be careful though...some dealers will charge in excess of $200 bucks just to reset computer. It only takes 1 minute to do.

OH...one thing I definately recommend doing regardless of what type of rider you are...... reinforce the frame and get skids. These frames have a weak spot and will bend at front a-arms and sometimes in the rear as well. If you need to know how...I'll post you a link.
