Hello I am rebuilding my top end and need to get the cam chain off so i took the clutch cover off but as i did i think a component may have fell in the oil pan below, and there is a loose spring in the cover. How many loose components are there when you take the cover off and where should this little spring go? Also where should i start going about getting the cam chain off? THANKS

use a telescoping magnet to fish out whatevers fell into your motor, chances are it was the return spring for your clutch pinion. as far as replacing the chain, im pretty sure you need to pull the clutch hub and maybe the oil pump...should be pretty straight forward. i could be wrong of course, but im pretty sure the clutch hub and maybe that oil pump need to come off. be sure not to lose the little o-ring for your oil pump, a new ones 7 days out from honda.
