575.00 gears
250.00 polishing (not that important in a n 08 if you put the gears in)
225.00 labor (bottom end only)
20.00 bottom end gaskets and oil filter
100.00 shipping and insurance
1170.00 total

920.00 w/o polishing

question about this 3rd gear problem. its supposed to be 08 to 09 right? mine is an 07, and when i go full throttle like when im doing holeshots sometimes it is a BEOTCH to get into 3rd gear. if im cruising it shifts easy, but wide open its like it just dont wanna go. but shifting to 4th is easy even when im wide open. is this the 3rd gear problem or do i just suck at shifting?

yea the 08's have the 3rd problem 06-07's have a false nutreul witch can also be fixed.

yea once and a while it will just pop into nutruel for a second then get back into gear. to fix it you have yo get all the 08 shafts and shift forks and everything with the 06 gears

Actually it is not the shift forks. It is the shift star, arm, spring, shaft, shift star gear and pin. All located behind the clutch basket. No case splitting necessary. If it still has a false neutral, then your engagement area on the gears is worn and the gears will need replaced or cut.

If you send the tranny stack by itself to install the billet gears and do the REM ISF treatment, it is 825.00 (575.00 for the gears and 250.00 REM) .
