Cams are cheap for the KTM motor. I cannot see why you would want to port it though unless you cam it. The stock cam limits the RPMs quite a bit. I do not have any dyno figures, just experience from riding all the outlaws I have had.

What cam would you suggest for my application?
Mainly stock, reworked intake, and slightly modified exhaust. I am hoping to get the new HMF in the new year some time. Jetted too.

Seems that most builders use the 8/06 KTM cam. I have it in one of mine and I like it. I was leary at first because i run XC but it works great. I have an 8/33 which is more aggressive and I will be trying it in the spring.
Partspitstop has the cams at a decent price. If you live by them in michigan you could save shipping which is like $10. I got my 8/33 for under $150 shipped.

BCS Performance in Massachusetts makes a velocity stack for them with a k&n air filter. makes a world of difference. We ran them on all 5 of our Polaris race quads this season including Aaron Meyer's.
