kxrida what chest protectors will they work with? or wont they

I'm not sure I haven't tried it on with my sentinel yet. Through the grapevine I've heard it fits with the sentinel. The manual shows some half-assed kinda way of mounting it to an Astars bionic protector with zip ties. I'd assume the HRP protector would work as well. The brace member isn't as long so I could probably see this brace being more compatable with more protectors.

I retract my previous statement. As far as fitment with my sentinel, it's a no go, even with the back piece removed. It's a good bit longer than the leatt and the rear memeber doesn't fit as well. Oh well looks like I'm going protector-less this year.

nice dude. i didn't know astars made a neck brace. i should really get one

hows that kawi treatin you? i got my 06 back (rings were fried) and that thing rips compared to my yamaha. they seem like really good bikes. you want an 06 for a practice bike? lol

and i was out at the rocket saturday and sunday before rifle a little and they reversed the track. i didn't have my bike up to the cabin so i wasn't riding but i think it looks a lot smoother, definately a lot jumpier. i guess they just did it last week

I've got the carbon one and have made it fit with my sentinel. You have to cut a small bit out of the plastic bit that goes across the top of the back of the sentinel. ( the bit the clear strap goes on to) it will fit perfectly then

Yah my kxf would kill my yzf. I think it handles a good bit better as well. I just have to get the suspension setup for me an I'll be set. Haha while it would be nice to have a practice bike I'm saving up some money for a new ford raptor.

What did they reverse at rocket? Personally I liked to track in 2007 that had some more jumps in it. 2008 was a fast track but just didn't seem as fun.

DS, can you post some pics of your sentinel. I had a feeling it would have to be cut.

they reversed the direction of the whole track, it runse like clockwise now. theres a pretty badass step up where the finish line double used to be.

should be interesting to see how the track works out. I always liked to old layout better though. Had a nice even flow and a nice mix of jumps.

it does look a little better. I'm guessing that step up is bigger than what it looks on the video seeing how it starts at close to the bottom of the hill. Now I'm excited to send my suspension out on the kawie and go riding!

jesseweaver
12-04-2009, 05:35 AM
yea the video makes that step up look small. it seems similar to the old step up they had, it sends you up pretty good and has pretty much no lander. i think its a little easier than the old one though.

nah where the whoops were theres just a couple rollers now then it comes to a small drop off :ermm: back section is good. a lot of stuff is the same, just reversed. like way out in the back where it was the table then the double, now its the double and the table, just coming the other way
