works connection lever

i recently bought a works lever with the hotstart built in, ive heard that the stock hot start cable will work, but ive also hear it will not. any input will be great.

absolutly will not work. Its not adjustable so you wont be able to make it tight. Call up C&D racing. Colby has the cable for i believe $15

It can be rigged to work in a pinch, but it's much better to get a different cable. I got mine from Baldwin. A bit pricey, but they're just so good to deal with that I didn't care.
