Where do you guys get ur kill switches, not the tether switches, but the ones that they put on dirtbikes. The push button kill switches, where could i find them??? oh yea and can the push button kill switches be used for the electric start button????

i got mine off ebay for about 6 bucks.

helix racing and moose makes o.e.m's and sunline makes a really nice billet one.

Can you use any of them? Some of them ground, don't they? Heres my non grounding KX kill switch.

Edit This is my electric start.

mine has a ground wire on it but it still works fine. it came off a cr85

And you use it as your start button?

it depends on how he wired it, i suppose? just like the tether killswitches, it just depends on how it is wired. ill have to think about that for a while. What are you going to use it for dirtking? Steve

yea, the factory button has two wires running to it and i just spliced them into the kill button wires

well i was planing on using one for the kill switch and one for the start button. i dont know if it will work i was just wondering how i can have a kill switch and start button because i am removing my light toggle box??? will it work??

i would just use the button switch as the starter, get a tether to wire into the old killswitch on the cluster, and have the key. then you have it set up like Dallas, (honda#4). he used a kx switch for the starter, a motion pro tether i believe and has a key. it works out nicely. at one time i was going to use a high/low beam switch also mounted on the bars, and take the cluster off. steve
