Wanted: 400ex rear shock and linkage

stock rear 400ex shocks are going for $50 on ebay...there are 3 of them on there right now:)

That mod would go alot easier if you use a trx250r shock with the 400ex linkage.Been there,done that...

Pappy, Thanks for the heads up....

Dad400ex, Can you give me some info on the conversion? I know that 400ex shocks are going cheaper than 250r shocks, and I know that is what works on the 400ex linkage (also cheaper than 250r) But, hey, I'm open to suggestions. Just let me know how you did it. Thanks, Later

Theres no room at the upper mount area for the piggyback rez. on the 400ex shock and you have to modify the upper mount a litttle to accept the 250r shock,You must use the 400ex linkage,the 250r linkage does not work.The pivot points are different between the two.Just weld your tab to accept the linkage @ the frame and your in there.When doing this mod."THINK 400EX "and things will work out.
