if you want to then just take off a little bit at a time. take your time doing it. and you can leave a little bit left to file off if youre nervous with a sawzall

yeah just make sure u take your time. if you look at the factory front fenders there is like a perfect bend that is a perfect spot for it and that is where it looks like he cut his

Here is my 07 with the front cut. I put a strip of electrical tape on the line or crease on the front and used a jig saw to cut the fenders about 3/4” from the line.

idk if i want to cut mine because i only ride trails and i dont really think its neccesary. i think it looks cool but i would get mud all over me. and also theyre harder to sell with the fenders trimmed and after next season im planning on selling for a car

Yeah they do throw more dirt in your face then they do before there cut. I have +2s on mine so it doesn’t make much deference. But even with +2’s the stock fenders helped keep the dirt down. If your just trail ridding I’d leave them stock.

For anyone who's wondering...I cut mine right on the line/bend but I kinda messed up a bit so I cut a little more. So I don't know it's probably like a half inch in from the line/bend. But I also took a lot of the back. Back of the front fenders. You know what I mean.

Oh and I used a regular hand saw fthat you use for wood. Haha it actually cut really well. Then I filed and sanded it all smooth. :)

Oh and if anyone noticed my front right fender is cracked, haha. It cracked before I cut them...very depressing. :ermm:

heres a few of my 99 with 05 fronts, I used a utility knife w/ a new blade, a couple passes with it and it works great and has smooth edges
